Depigmentation and Eyebrow Correction

The Depigmentation Technique ,  correction and  Removal  they are  used to correct poorly done work, some can be corrected with Camouflage or Color Neutralization , where Micropigmentation can be performed on the same day. But in other cases only depigmenting to obtain a satisfactory result and alleviate the damage caused to the skin. As the skin is pigmented, it is possible to depigment it. It is noteworthy that this action can be partial or total. Additionally, there are many methods to lighten or permanently remove unwanted pigments.

Eyebrow Depigmentation Techniques

For cases where a client is dissatisfied with the work, there is a process of  depigmentation, a procedure that "removes" the implanted pigment  with the purpose of “cleaning the skin”.

There are several Depigmentation techniques that  help  the clients in these cases, we will see below:

Laser, chemicals and electrical equipment are the  main pigment removal methods, but each has  an advantage and should be used in specific cases.

Laser Depigmentation

THE  best known technique of depigmentation,  because it is fast, effective and safe, it is  pioneer used  at  tattoo removal for years.

Research reveals that laser depigmentation  may also  to be  used in removing micropigmentation, whether body or face (such as eyebrows).

The Laser Depigmentor emits a band of light so intense that it breaks up the ink particles.

In addition to "breaking" the pigment, this procedure activates the healing process in our body and, consequently, the macrophage, the immune system cell responsible for isolating the pigment and expelling it.

pros

  • Quick and unintentional procedure

  • not very aggressive

  • Common equipment is effective in dark colors like black, gray and dark blue

cons

  • Ordinary outfits are NOT effective on fancy colors like red, green or blue

Chemical Depigmentation

The chemical procedure is a delicate process and must be done by a trained and qualified professional.

THE  Chemical depigmentation follows the same logic as peeling, causing inflammation  shallow  and controlled  through  applications  of one or more chemical agents  in the epidermis to stimulate  tissue regeneration, expelling ink through cell renewal.

pros

  • Effective in removing  any color

  • Effective when there is a moderate degree of pain, except saturated colors

  • Results visible in the first session

cons

  • Some people take risks using any chemical product, the product must be made under the prescription of a pharmacist and approved by ANVISA!

  • Because it causes skin irritation,  can be dangerous if done by  non-professionals

Ultrasonic Depigmentation

Of the three depigmentation methods cited in this article, Ultrasonic depigmentation is the most cost-effective.

In addition to being a procedure without limitation for the colors used in micropigmentation, the  easy-to-handle equipment allows you to control the intensity  of the electric current avoiding  serious damage to the skin.

The procedure causes mild inflammation to stimulate the regeneration of the  tissue and expel the ink through cell renewal. But the skin remains intact.

pros

  • Effective in removing  any color

  • Can be applied in large or small areas

  • Shows excellent results in a few sessions

cons

  • Of the three depigmentation processes mentioned here, it is the most painful, but very bearable

  • Choose a trained and qualified professional

It is always recommended to know  the professional very well before doing any procedure. Look for work that has already healed, ask friends for directions, and check if the equipment is modern.
